Preparations are underway for the new XXVIII edition of Primavera del Prosecco Superiore, which with its 17 Wine exhibitions is going to let the public experience the true essence of the hills where the most famous bubbles in the world are born.
In fact, the cultural and gastronomic itinerary develops in the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore area which, from the 18th of March to the 11th of June, will tell the story of the Alta Marca, its small villages, the vineyards that decorate the slopes and the industrious cellars that have made the local wine famous.
Food, history and culture merge in a single path with Primavera del Prosecco Superiore, and it is evidenced by the success of the event. The festival has been proposed for almost three decades not as a simple food and wine event, but as a journey into beauty to discover the places where the skilful oenological art of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Docg was born. It is a place where “know-how” is combined with the enhancement of an environment so unique so that it has been named a Unesco World Heritage Site.

There will be guided tours, naturalistic excursions, tastings, and many other initiatives aiming to celebrate the Heritage of the Veneto Hills, the environments to be protected and safeguarded.
IN THE PLACES OF ANDREA ZANZOTTO
Given the success of the past editions, the calendar of nature walks “Postcards sent by the Gods” to discover the places praised by the poet will be re-proposed, as well as the guided tours of Andrea Zanzotto’s Paternal House. Cultural visits will also be scheduled in the symbolic places of the municipalities where the individual exhibitions take place.
THE 9th WINE COMPETITION “FASCETTA D’ORO”
The task of the Primavera del Prosecco Superiore Committee is naturally to highlight the best wine production in the area, presenting the most characteristic types of wines to the public, as well as to reward wineries. For this reason, the Provincial Committee UNPLI Treviso, in agreement with the Association of Italian Wine Technologists (Assoenologi), as Officially Authorized Body by the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies, has obtained Ministerial approval to establish the WINE COMPETITION “FASCETTA D’ORO”, the first and only National Competition dedicated exclusively to Conegliano Valdobbiadene and its excellent wines. The procedures for participation will soon be online.
GREEN CELLARS
In partnership with the Agricultural Consortium of Treviso and Belluno, the Award dedicated to the wine producers that have decided to make at least one of the production processes more sustainable is back. The aim is to identify, reward and enhance the best practices of environmental and economic sustainability in agricultural companies in the Prosecco DOCG production area. The procedures for participation will soon be online.
ACCESSIBILITY
Accessibility is an issue of the highest concern to the Organizing Committee of the exhibition. For this reason, the Exhibitions have been encouraged to redesign the events focusing on accessibility and inclusion, which is a further step towards a careful, aware and truly open to everyone tourism.
