Primavera del Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco presents the new calendar of Postcards sent by the Gods, naturalistic walks with the guides of Naturalmente Guide in surroundings of the beauty of the UNESCO Heritage Hills.
The 2025 edition will again focus on the life and poetry of Andrea Zanzotto, exploring the places that were dear to him and that inspired him for his works.
There are four appointments scheduled between March and June:
Sunday 30 March – 9.30 a.m.
WHERE A POET WAS BORN, ZANZOTTO’S BIRTHPLACE AND THE SOLIGO RIVER
An easy excursion to breathe in the landscapes where the poet Andrea Zanzotto was born and grew up. We will start with a brief visit to the Casa Paterna (Birthplace House), to discover the life and place that accompanied his work.
We will then follow the course of the Soligo river to the village of Solighetto. This river has always stood out for the great industriousness along its banks. Enchanting glances towards the hills so beloved by the poet.

DURATION: about 2.5 hours (1 hour visit to the house, 1.5 hours walk)
MEETING POINT: parking area at ‘A. Zanzotto’ primary school, Pieve di Soligo (Tv)
NOTES: The route does not present particular difficulties, shoes with soles suitable for rough terrain are necessary. The route allows families with children in pushchairs to participate.
Saturday 12 April – 3 p.m.
A TENEBROUS AND GLORIOUS LABYRINTH
A guided excursion to discover the Crode del Pedrè, one of the most evocative areas of Pieve di Soligo, and one of the best loved by the poet Andrea Zanzotto, defined as ‘a tenebrous and glorious labyrinth in which childhood settled’. The walk winds through a pleasant landscape of vineyards, groves, magnificent oaks, meadows and bubbling water. The embrace of the beautiful Pre-Alps and surrounding hills will accompany us throughout the walk.

NOTES: The route does not present particular difficulties; shoes with soles suitable for rough terrain are necessary. The route does not allow families with children on buggies to participate.
Saturday 19 April – 9.30 a.m.
ARFANTA AND ITS HILLS
We will start out from the village of Arfanta, the hamlet of the municipality of Tarzo, which lies at the highest altitude above sea level (365m) and whose church dates back to the 15th century.
This hamlet is mentioned under the name of Lorna in the writings of the poet Zanzotto.
Along minor roads, with splendid views of the UNESCO heritage hills, and forest paths, we will reach the small village of Reseretta, where there is the tiny church of Madonna della Salute. A short distance away is Resera, in a splendid panoramic position and characterised by the small church of Sant’Andrea (San Rocco) in the small square.

MEETING POINT: Church of San Bartolomeo (15th century), Arfanta, Tarzo
NOTES: The route does not present particular difficulties, but there are some climbs. Shoes with soles suitable for rough terrain are required. The route does not allow families with children in pushchairs to participate.
Saturday 17 May – 3 p.m.
BETWEEN SAN PAOLO AND MONTE ALTARE
Starting from the mai square of Ceneda, in Vittorio Veneto, we will head towards the Castle of San Martino, now the seat of the bishopric, with a beautiful view of the city of Vittorio Veneto, and from there we will head into the woods of Monte Altare. Along the way, we will be able to admire the imposing walls with the typical rocks of our hills, the Conglomerates, which also gave their name to a famous collection of poems by Zanzotto. Observing them we will be able to understand the genesis and geomorphological peculiarities of the area. The circular route will end again at the square of Ceneda.

NOTES: The route does not present particular difficulties, the difference in height is fairly well distributed along the ring. Shoes with soles suitable for rough terrain are required, trekking poles are useful. Bring a water bottle with you.
Participation is reserved for people who are normally used to walking, and children aged 7/8 and above. The route does not allow families with children in pushchairs to participate.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
A participation fee of €5.00 per person is required, payable to the guide directly at the meeting point.
It is possible to take part in a maximum of two excursions and there is a limited number of places available.

TECHNICAL NOTES
Boots or shoes with soles suitable for rough terrain must be worn. Comfortable, layered clothing, rain and windproof jacket recommended. Hiking poles are recommended. Bring an adequate supply of water and a snack with you. Any life-saving medication or similar must be brought along during the hike. Minors may only participate if accompanied by an adult.
Excursions will take place when the minimum number of participants is reached. Changes to the programme may be decided at the guide’s sole discretion if conditions are not suitable to guarantee a sufficient degree of safety.
