The Postcards sent by the Gods nature walks are back, with guides from Naturalmente Guide. The third walk ‘ARFANTA E I SUOI COLLI’ will be held on Saturday, 19 April.
A walk to discover the surroundings of the small village of Combai, amidst woods of old chestnut trees, vineyards and ‘casere’ (farmhouses), also discovering myths and legends of the local fairytale tradition.
We will start out from the village of Arfanta, the hamlet of the municipality of Tarzo, which lies at the highest altitude above sea level (365m) and whose church dates back to the 15th century.
This hamlet is mentioned under the name of Lorna in the writings of the poet Zanzotto.
Along minor roads, with splendid views of the UNESCO heritage hills, and forest paths, we will reach the small village of Reseretta, where there is the tiny church of Madonna della Salute. A short distance away is Resera, in a splendid panoramic position and characterised by the small church of Sant’Andrea (San Rocco) in the small square.
